As Apple ’s vice president of real estate, design, and construction for 13 years, Bob Bridger helped design the tech giant’s glassy, expansive stores. When he built a home in Aspen, Colo., after leaving Apple in 2015, he brought some of that sensibility to the contemporary estate, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and a “clubhouse” building with a glass garage door. Through Bridger’s relationships with vendors from his time at Apple, he connected with the owners of a quarry in Marble, Colo., and was able to handpick the stone in the house. After several years of construction, the property was completed in 2022, and Bridger is now putting it on the market for $45 million.

Altogether, the Montana Republican's net worth lies somewhere between $74 million and $260 million, according to a calculation of his declared assets. Yet Tester still handily outraised Sheehy during the last quarter, raising $5 million versus Sheehy's $2.8 million. The Montana Republican and his wife are also invested in a variety of pharmaceutical companies, even as skepticism of big pharma grows on the right in the wake of the pandemic and COVID-19 vaccine mandates. The spokesperson also pointed to Sheehy's ethics pledge, which states that the Montana Republican will place all of his stocks into a blind trust if elected.

Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers about the third episode of “Ahsoka,” “Time to Fly.”CNN —After a somewhat sluggish start, “Ahsoka” felt much more on target as its third episode continued to draw upon “Star Wars Rebels” lore while mixing in abundant action and paying its respects to the original trilogy. The interactions between Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), in particular, echoed the early training of Luke Skywalker by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and offered a reminder that the past and future of “Star Wars” run straight through the Jedi order. For her part, Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) was left to grapple with the myopia of the New Republic leadership to the lingering imperial threat. Whatever the numbers, “Ahsoka” now feels as if it’s more solidly building toward its larger narrative at a brisker pace. Keep doing that, and the ratings – however you choose to measure them – should take care of themselves.

Nov 11 (Reuters) - A group responsible for power market reliability in Western North America said the growing use of renewable generation will require the region to boost planning reserves in coming years to help maintain grid reliability. That means electric companies will have to hold more resources to account for that increased variability to maintain system reliability. WECC, however, noted that reliability through 2025 increased in the latest assessment compared with last year. That's due to actions taken after the August 2020 heat wave forced California's grid operators to impose rotating outages. "Delaying retirements provides entities more time to determine how to mitigate risks once these plants retire," WECC said.
